Egg Hunt Day

Hello and welcome to my blog! My June double page layout for the Stick It Down blog went a bit topsy-turvy in the last minute. We had a massive storm at the end of May, and my internet was down for days, which prevented me from printing the photos I wanted to scrap for this month's layout. So I had to resort to some older photos in order to complete my double page, based on the this sketch:

Nevertheless, I really enjoyed working with this month's sketch, and scrapping those Easter photos meant that I was finally able to use up some old stash, which I have been hanging onto for over a year...

The layout is pretty simple; I tried to stick to the sketch as much as possible, but ended up making some changes to where the journaling and the embellishment clusters are positioned.

The bunny paper and some of the embellishments are from Dear Lizzy. The paper with the triangles is from Webster's Pages. The rest of the embellishments are from various Maggie Holmes collections.

The thickers are rose gold - I seem to be using these on all of my layouts lately. Although they are from two different collections, they match perfectly in colour. The smaller alpha is just perfect for longer titles.

There's not much more to say about the layout - it's pretty simple and straight forward this month.

Please visit the Stick It Down blog for more inspiration - lots of fabulous sketches to be found for single and double layouts, as well as for cards.
