Scrapbook Whispers

I have spent the most of yesterday scrapping - I have been really inspired by the challenges that (Inter)National Scrapbooking Day has brought upon us. I have been following a number of blogs, but primarily focusing on UK Scrap Addicts and its sister FB group, For The Love Of Pretty Paper.

The following layout is my entry for the Scrapbook Whispers challenge on UK Scrap Addists:

This is a scraplift from Pol Prince's layout - I really loved her layout and the large, horizontal photo she used prompted me to scrap the photo I ended up using.

My layout is 8.5" x 11" in size, as it will have to fit in my son's school album. I used lots of Maggie Holmes (Crate Paper) and Paige Evans (Pink Paislee) papers and embellishments - I seem to be mixing these two lines frequently - the colours and tones seem to complement each other well. There is a bit of Cocoa Vanilla Studio in there as well.
